A Bay Area native, DJ Busy B was first exposed to the world of music by his mother who played Soul and R & B records.
Impressed by a performance by New York’s DJ Kid Capri sparked DJ BUSY B’s interest to begin spinning at parties at the young age of 14.
DJ BUSY B plays more than 100 shows a year making a mark in his territory while exposing an audience to his diverse music selection ranging from R & B to Hip-Hop, Rock, House, dinner music classics and Old School favorites.
His DJ influences include: The Legendary Grandmaster Flash, Kid Capri, Jazzy Jeff, Funkmaster Flex and DJ AM.
Today, DJ BUSY B can be heard playing for many high-profile clients such as Oracle, Nibbi Brothers Construction, Visa, Google, Box, Wells Fargo, the National Assn. of Realtors, Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Calvin Klein and Vera Wang. He was a resident DJ for many years at (Harry Denton’s) The Starlight Room, located at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in the heart of Union Square In San Francisco, CA.
